A Software Engineer who does everything else. I have been building in the edtech space for 7+ years. Recently, moved to Santa Cruz from Karachi where I built an impact startup for upskilling and entrepreneurship education.
I started freelancing when I was 19 – developed websites for small businesses, did UI/UX for studios, and wrote about the local startup space. It helped me transition through full-time roles, a startup, and the move across oceans.
I have always been overwhelmed by the things I could do with a career in tech. It was not long when I found my calling – now I just know my energy is eclectic when I grow communities and my work helps people learn and make life altering decisions.

First workplace – got hired by the VC straight outta senior year to run the first maker space of the public campus. It was an old finance office with gray walls – and we don’t work in gray areas. People built robots, prosthetic arms, cycles, and just had fun. As heard on the campus – “our only happy space”
Designed and lead a series of hackathons and community workshops for Karachi Civic Innovation Lab – a project based out of Playground @ Habib University. Supported 200+ social entrepreneurs, civic activists, and community leaders with tech + digital curriculum
Activated the biggest tech conference in Pakistan – helped the WIRED edition hit 7300+ audience in 3 weeks by activating 60+ startups, VCs, and developer communities across the country

Transformed a student community that I started at my engineering campus into an impact startup. Scaled and sustained it for 6 years, impacting 6300+ early career professionals across 🇵🇰 – 64% women, 78% public campus students. Our programs focused on tech and entrepreneurial education. We partnered with 60+ startups, campuses, and developer communities to build their community learning events. We grew from a team of 5 to 16 engineers, designers, and community builders. I mostly stayed behind the screen, fundraising, developing programs, and tracking dashboards for monitoring and evaluation.
